Give your opinion on Indian Point, only not this week

April
21

Sorry folks, I got the date wrong for the Indian Point meetings to help a panel of experts learn what the public is concerned about at the nuclear plant. I thought it was Monday April 21, but it’s Monday April 28. My sincere apology. The times and location are correct in the blog item below.

I can’t imagine anyone interested in finding out just what CAN be found out about Indian Point, missing this opportunity. Just think,..... the smug, corrupt , obeisant NRC nowhere in sight!! ..... Not a single Entergy corporate drone to mouth misleading newspeak pablum !!

Just some very, very qualified science , engineering , & environmental people, all with careers so eminent they are immune to being called wannabes, or pretenders. If you miss this one, and ever say a word about Indian Point afterwards, we will all know, prima facia, that you love fairy tales better than reality.

If you ask the panel to look under just the right rug…...maybe that long-lost smoking gun will turn up!!

Anyway, it’s the only chance you’ll ever get. Once this opportunity passes, truth will disappear back under a mammoth avalanche of political rhetoric, and effectively disappear from history forever.

So, for truth-lovers….. how DARE you think of missing this event !!

Attention, chickens. The fox will be guarding your coop at this meeting. The Indian Point “Independent” Safety Evaluation Panel was hired by Entergy. The Raging Grannies of Westchester will probably sing to the panel, and the panel won’t like it any more than the NRC liked it when we sang last September. We’ll sing the latest version of “Indian Point Must Go,” and we have a new song called “Taking a Chance on Nukes.” The Westchester Raging Grannies have a website now, and there’s an account of our testimony for the NRC—even a photo. http://westchester.raginggrannies.org/Songs.htm
