Think a dedicated fund to create parks and preserve open space is a good thing? Then you might want to read up on the Community Preservation Act. Here’s an explainer from last year.     Passing the Community Preservation Act is vital for the Hudson Valley. Towns need to have more options for protecting the character of our community. I hope that the NYS Senate will move to pass this great piece of environmental legislation that is before them (and which has already passed the Assembly).
